Hi, I'm Al

When I’m not capturing magical wedding moments, I like to think of myself as a (mostly) normal person. I’m married to an amazing wife who works in the NHS, and I’m obsessed with movies, music, and gaming:

Chef

I love all types of food and when I'm not out photographing weddings, I can be often found in the kitchen creating questionable snacks. Like my mackerel and hummus wrap (DM me if you want the recipe!)

Guineapig Dad

On top of that, I’m a proud guinea pig dad to two adorable furballs Tribble & Chewie. They can be demanding and get into trouble sometimes but they pay their way by devouring all the veggies we buy when we're pretending to be healthy.

Musician

I’m also big into music and play both guitar and drums. My life’s ultimate dream? To swoop in for a wedding band whose drummer didn’t show up. (Hopefully not your’s tho, because honestly I’m not that good!)

1. I’ll Blend In From the Start

Whether I’m with you from the morning prep or arriving just before the ceremony (for half-day coverage), I’ll quietly slot into the day without any fuss.I won’t burst in with lights and gear! I keep things low-key and relaxed. I’ll say hi, get a feel for the space, and quietly start capturing all the natural, in-between moments. You’ll barely notice me, but I’ll be catching all those small but meaningful moments straight away.

2. I Don’t Interrupt the Day

My approach is totally unobtrusive. I won’t stop you mid-hug or stage anything that doesn’t suit your vibe. From the ceremony through to the celebrations, I capture what actually happens: tears, laughter and intimate moments. It’s your day, not a photoshoot.

3. A Few Relaxed Portraits (If You Fancy)

At some point (usually after your reception), we can take 15 minutes for some relaxed couple photos. We’ll go for a short wander around your venue and have a chat! Nothing crazy, just a bit of natural light, and you two being yourselves. If you want group shots, we’ll keep those quick and simple too, so you can get back to your guests and the fun.

I'll be There For The Dance Floor Moves!

If you’ve booked full-day coverage, I stay right through to the dance floor moments—because let’s be honest, that’s when things get interesting. Whether it’s your gran throwing shapes or your mates singing their hearts out, I’ll be there, capturing it all. For half-day bookings, I usually wrap up after the wedding breakfast and speeches but either way, I leave you with a story, not just a set of photos.
